2008 Annual Meeting & Convention will be at Lake Ozark,
Missouri. For more details, click
here. When making your
room reservations,
please note the hotel code for MCRA rates.
Every year, MCRA members are encouraged to sponsor a
student at the MCRA Annual Meeting & Convention. Adopting these
students will give you an opportunity to share your insight and wisdom
with them as they work toward the proficiency required to be a
professional reporter. For information and a form, click
here.
Members are also encouraged to donate an item for this
year's convention fundraising auction, Treasures to the Highest
Bidder. Items donated with a value over $75 will go on a live
auction, while those valued under $75 will go on our silent
auction. And whether it be a gift basket, court reporting equipment,
or tickets to an event, your donation will not only help us keep the
FUN in fundraising at convention, but will also help MCRA provide
services to you throughout the year. Plus, both your donation and the
treasures you purchase at the auction are tax-deductible. Please
contact Tracie Brumley at 417-725-7673 or
Tracie.Brumley@courts.mo.gov for more information or if you need
help getting your auction item to the Lake.
